FASTING INSPIRATION
Prayer with fasting, appealing to Father to act on behalf of the perfect man
Oh, that the Son will be vindicated! Oh, that his rightful place be given Him, for the government will be upon His shoulders. The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to mankind. –Psalm 115:16
The dominion of the earth was given to first Adam. He failed and handed the earth over to Satan. Jesus the perfect man, the last Adam, has been given all authority in the earth.
He’s been given all authority in the earth due to His perfection as man, defeating Satan as a man and being raised up to the right hand of God to represent those who believe in Him. He has sent His Holy Spirit to guide us into victory. He is bringing forth a host of joint heirs who reign with Him on the earth (Romans 5:17-21). The Holy Spirit inspires us to believe for the salvation of the nations and restoration of the earth. Holy Spirit inspires us to petition Father and declare Satan put under the feet of Jesus.
Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession. –Psalm 2:8
There is a divine partnership that Father has ordained for the transformation of the earth, wherein the Sons of God bring needs before the Father in prayer. We don’t come as beggarly, or those on the outside, or as those who aren’t heard. We come as those who have been given an inheritance to guard, govern and… guide. That inheritance is the earth. The earth is under our jurisdiction as full partners with the perfect man.
For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its
own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hopethat the creation itself will be liberated from its
bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory
of the children of God. –Romans 8:20
PRAYER EMPHASIS:
Our prayer for today involves embracing a hope filled responsibility for the earth and for its salvation and restoration. Use the following as inspiration, but don’t stop with this primer.
“Father we ask you, because of Jesus and His victory over darkness, save the nations. Rescue those taken captive. Heal those wounded. Father, remember the work of Jesus was to redeem every man in every nation. Father subdue the enemies of Jesus. Father we ask you, put the enemies of Jesus under His feet. Punish the demonic realm Father and set the captives free.”
STRATEGIZE – FOCUS MY MIND:Today we continue with renewing our mind from the book of Mark. Read Mark 9-13. Take notes as you read the book of Mark, looking for points that strengthen your faith.
